[TOMT] A movie about a man having “visions” of the undead

Hello, unfortunately i don’t remember a TON about this movie, but i watched it sometime with Ming the last two years, and i want to say that it was a fairly recent release when i watched.

This movie is like a psychological thriller/ a bit of a horror movie, but I don’t remember it being particularly scary aside from a few jump scares.

The movie starts with a man (maybe in his 20’s or early 30’s) waking up in his house , and he is periodically having these visions of the undead, potentially spirits or such. I remember a girl being introduced at some point, I think she had short dark or purple hair, and she also experiences these visions. I think she explains to him that it is some sort of curse that they are both afflicted with. I remember three specific scenes, not in this order probably. One scene has both of the characters sitting by the pool, and the guy sees one of the spirits or zombies in his backyard pool, another scene he’s in his house and he opens the door to his bathroom, and gets unscathed by this spirit again, (he may have fallen back and knocked himself out as well), and the final scene I remember is some sort of scuffle in his kitchen where he is running from these spirits, knocking stuff over.

I probably watched this movie at home on Netflix or Hulu, and I think it was also set in something like the hills of LA, but I don’t remember it being a particularly fancy house.

I cannot for the life of me remember anything else about this movie but I’ve been thinking of it for a week now, chat GPT has no clue what I’m talking about. Please help 😭
