Am makin a game heavily inspired by ***B3313*** (a Mario 64 rom hack), and ***Endacopia***, ***the backrooms***, and sorta ***Majora’s Mask*** (like hope in despair vibes), and also very faintly ***Ultrakill*** (epic ideas planned after playing fraud layer)

**Quick run down on story:**
*Imo* is **THE** neglected child, **forgotten** by the **world** and everyone in it completely… But because of this, ***Imo*** is able to **travel** to places the ***universe*** would usually try and keep people out of… (the world literally forgot about him) and so *Imo* wanders and wanders freely.

**Concepts behinds gameplay:**
I feel like **backrooms** games feel too… **gamey**. Like sure the **movement** and **graphics** are all **realistic**, but because of that, the gameplay itself resorts to just being a… ***“level to level”*** game like nes *Mario*. *“Activate all the buttons to get to the next level!”* Or *“walk through a maze to get to the next level”*. Idk it just doesn’t feel… like ***exploring***.
That is why I go for the more gamey **controls** and graphics, I **trade** the **exploring** gaminess for **movement** gaminess (because a game gotta be gamey somehow)

**Game progress:**
So far, I made:
\- **one** *music* (the one in the vid)
\- little environment demo (water place)
\- ***two*** **enemy** *goobers* (not in vid)
\- and just some customization stuff… like VCR tv filter. It looks nice.

I gotta figure out what to do for the *small* pleasure things that keep you exploring; like the **stars** in ***B3313***, they don’t do anything but egg you on

(Would be comparable to finding **shrines** in ***breath of the wild*** or ***tears of the kingdom***, or maybe even something like the **cap switches** in ***Mario 64***)

But anywho that’s what I got to share :)
Is being made on Godot v4.4 by me, myself, and I
