Anyone else have drive shaft issues with nutrimill artiste???

I have had my artiste for about 4 years or so now. I didn’t use it the entire first year because immediately the drive shaft broke (the clip on them bust off and it causes the shaft to spin without grasping the dough hook). I, being new to this mixer, didn’t know what was happening and was driving myself mad trying to figure out why my new mixer wasn’t working, so I gave up and sat it aside for a long while. Eventually I drug it back out, got online and asked people, diagnosed the issue, and had an easy fix of a $20 replacement shaft. Very frustrating that I had to replace a part immediately, but it fixed my issue.
Since then (and mind you all within the last year or so - so I had a good couple of years with no issues) I have had to replace the shaft 3 times. I have to have backups on had bc my husband can take pliers and fix one but then that one is much more prone to popping off again.
Tonight I was mixing 4 separate batches of sourdough cinnamon rolls and during each batch one of my shafts busted leaving me to finish mixing my third batch and completely mix my last batch in my 5.5 qt kitchenaid which has no business with my sourdough cinnamon rolls 🤣
IT’S SO INFURIATING and I can’t find anyone else online who has talked about this.
I want to upgrade to the Bosch and cross my fingers for better luck but I have PTSD from the shafts and have no confidence that the new mixer won’t have the same problem for more $$. But I feel like a crazy person because no one else online is talking about this!

Someone tell me why I shouldn’t throw this stupid thing in the garbage!!!
