How long does it actually take for guys to move on? I’m struggling to understand the timeline.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been going through a bit of a rough patch lately and I’ve been spiraling a bit thinking about this. I know "everyone is different," but I’m curious to hear from the guys here: How long did it realistically take you to move on from a relationship/situationship ?
I feel like there's this stereotype that guys just go out, party, and forget everything in two weeks, but from what I’ve seen, it sometimes hits men much later or lasts way longer than people realize.
• Did you feel the "relief" stage first and then the crash later?
• Was there a specific moment when you realized you were finally "over it"?
• Did you jump into dating right away as a distraction, or did you need total silence?
I’m just trying to gain some perspective because right now, it feels like this "moving on" phase is never-ending. Would love to hear your honest experiences.
Thanks in advance.
