qlaud is the **managed AI stack for multi-user AI apps** — three layers that compose into one platform:

* **Backend** — stateful threads with conversation history + a tool-dispatch loop the model uses to call your endpoints
* **Gateway** — every frontier model behind a single per-user-billed API surface, drop-in compatible with the official OpenAI / Anthropic / ElevenLabs / Vercel AI / LangChain SDKs
* **Database** — vector search across every thread message, MCP server connectivity (100+ catalog connectors), tool registry

The core promise: **mint a per-user API key with a hard spending cap**, drop it into any official SDK you already use, and at month-end pull per-user usage to push to whatever billing tool you have (Stripe, Paddle, Lemon Squeezy, custom).

You stop:

* Tracking per-user AI cost yourself
* Writing tool-dispatch loops
* Spinning up Postgres for chat history
* Reconciling N upstream invoices

You keep the customer relationship.

# What this sub is for

* Tutorials + integration patterns ("how I wired qlaud into Claude Code", "per-user billing in 30 lines")
* Changelog posts every Friday — what shipped this week
* Q&A — ask anything, the maintainers respond
* Show & tell — what are you building?

Lurk, post, ask, share. Glad to have you here.
