Is the LGBTQ Community at a stand still?

So recently I was talking to some friends and we were talking about how it seems that the LGBTQ and every other minority group are at a standstill! We not progressing at all like we were 3-4 years ago. It seems as if we are regressing! More people are being homophobic, transphobic, racist, etc. It just seems like if you’re not an identifying conservative straight white man then your life will be damn near hell! But those same men are DL and on grinder! It’s just a weird time to be alive in America…. Hell in this world but I’m still gonna try and do me and live my life!
