Anyone know why one lamp work in a power outage?

So, where I live we had a storm last night. Not a terrible one but enough that my power was out for a few hours. All of my power except for one lamp plugged in beside my front door. The light switches on that wall did not work. But that one lamp never turned off.

My dad thinks I’m crazy. lol. Or that I was sleep walking. My mom also saw it, my 10 year old did not. Y’all, I have not ever in my 35 years seen some shit like this. I never would have thought it was possible. And answers will be appreciated.
