Question about repotting

I just bought a Venus Fly Trap, and I researched ahead of time, yet some info was wrong. Can I repot in spaghum moss immediately or do I need to acclimate it to my room first? I ask because with my houseplants I usually let them acclimate for 4-7 days first. I got it at Walmart so it was in a plastic tube. I took it out of that but the medium it's in does not look like it's appropriate at all.
