4 Year Old how to help?

My 4.5 was diagnosed about a year and a half ago and hes been given cyproheptadine which definitely helps reduce how often he has an episode. However his GI specialist tells me theres not much I can do during an episode other than try to keep him hydrated and wait, but watching my 35lb little guy vomit bile every 5-10 minutes for hours is horrible, I can't imagine how he feels. There is nothing left in his tummy but bile and acid. Is there anything I can do or give him during an episode to help relieve it or make it stop sooner?
