Game review vs self analysis

Recently got back into chess and I’ve been using the free analysis tool on chesscom. After using the free game review a couple times, I think just using an engine on its own is better because there’s less visual clutter.

I just look for the eval bar swings and also where I know I made mistakes and checking the engine best moves to fix those mistakes. Is this a good way to self analyse games?
