AIO for wanting to cut someone off for their apparent double standards?
For context, I'm a minority whereas my friend is of the majority race. We've been friends since high school and we usually share the same opinions on current issues. Particularly, the ignorance of some people in my community when it comes to serious global issues, and she'd always 'praise' me for being one of the good ones and "standing on the right side of history" whatnot. When I use social media to spread awareness regarding these matters, she'd usually reply or give a like as acknowledgement. She would also post news and issues faced by her community.
Recently, an unjustified decision made by a government official in my country caused major uproar by the minorities. Seeing how this issue concerns my community, I, once again, posted some news and opinions on the matter, how the majority protects their own people while exploiting/severely punishing the minorities. During this, she has not once acknowledged the apparent double standards and discrimination of her people to the minorities, and now I decided to cut her off completely. Am I overreacting?
(PS: Terribly sorry for the shitty grammars. English is not my first language lol)
TL;DR: Friend is silent about issues faced by another community but incredibly vocal when it concerns her own. Thus, I decided to cut her off.
