Neighbour issues - exploring options.

Hi,

I live in a stair with 5 other flats (4 private owned, 2 council). One of the private owners has mental health issues and has had paramedics out 8 times in the last 5 months due him threatening to end his life. These occur during the night and result in the paramedics arriving, slamming ambulance doors and banging loudly on his flat door. I’m guessing he’s drinking alcohol and passing out as it takes a while for the paramedics to get through to him. They then leave without actually taking him away.

I’m starting to find this is taking a strain on myself getting woken up during the night (I don’t know about other flat owners) as it seems to always be a cry for help (thankfully). Do I have any rights here? How many times will this be allowed to happen before he gets the help he needs?

I’m already looking at new houses as this is getting out of control.
