Strong with sexual intimacy, weak with emotional intimacy?

I 37m, gf 30f. She initiates, always wants to cuddle, always wants hugs, always wants sex. Complains I don’t initiate.

But serious conversations, or spending time reading, or just hanging are like pulling teeth.

Sometimes during sex she has gotten upset at this or that thing, even though it was okay in the past. It makes me super nervous and passive. I feel weird because typically I’m the hopped up, horny one, but not in this situation.

It’s an LTR and I almost feel like sex is why I’ve been kept around.
