I Long For the Day When He Gets His Big Break!

WARNING: this is a rant, as well as a low-effort post (I think?)

I (19F) have been a HUGE fan of Joshua Bassett since HSMTMTS (RINA FOREVER!). But, I really became obsessed during the whole SOUR craze (*some* livies be CRAZY) 🙃

Anyway, for years now, I've been supporting my man through what has to be one of the worst decades of his life. Which, as you guys may know, is EFFING BRUTAL! Like, just as I was thinking we are FINALLY seeing a new day, here comes another wave of hate. It's EXHAUSTING! 😭

Like today, Joshua made a video talking about the hate he's gotten, his feelings regarding it, and his memoir, which, delves into that. It was really vulnerable, beautiful, and authentic. I was literally blinking back tears as I went to give a comment, when I saw some typical, BS, comments calling him fake and bigoted (the anti-LGBTQ+ church thing 🙄).

Of course, I defended Joshua, and called out their inaccurate complaints. But, it just reminded me how long this has been going on, as well as how by attacking him, those jerkfaces literally PROVE HIS POINT! 😤

It's gotten to the point that, as the title suggests, I LONG for the day when Josh gets his time to shine, and all these faux-feminist, bottom-dwellers, come and try to rewrite history, and claim that they his fans the entire time. At this point, I don't know whether I'll welcome them, or whack em upside the head.

In conclusion, I'm sick, tired, angry, yet hopeful that things will get better! I PRAY that he, and Rookie gets the acclaim they BOTH deserve.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 And that all the haters get kicked in crotch by their high horses. 😁
