How to resize PDF image selection embeds

I use the PDF++ plugin to embed graphics from lecture presentations into my notes. After the recent update which added an easy way to resize images I can no longer easily alter the size of these embeds from a pdf.

Before you could just do: [[document&selection|400]] for a width (or height, idk) of 400. Now that's no longer possible. Is there any way to do this now since changing the image size like with embedded image files down't work here?
