[TW: ace-breaking, making straight/fetishizing girl on girl] Sapphic asexual tired of men saying I just haven't found the right man yet.
I find that when men find out that I'm asexual, or that I'm interested in women, they make it into an excuse to just sexualize me. It's like they want everything to be about them, or more specifically to be about what gets them off.
They always ask 'just how sapphic/asexual i am' and probe with questions to either find something to debate or something to fetishize. They say that because I'm not sex-repulsed, then 'I'm not really asexual' or because I'm bi — even if I'm mostly interested in women — that they could convince me to be straight for them.
I have the right to be these things without being seen as or treated like a fetish for these men. I should be allowed to go about my life without this kind of treatment, and I seriously doubt any of the misogynists in here could convince me otherwise.
