Honda Accord 9th gen sunroof explodes

Hi everyone, I was driving in the highway maybe doing 60mph and heard an explosion over my head and glass shattering everywhere. Thought something had crash landed on my car but come to find out that my roof just randomly exploded. I had purchased a replacement oem sunroof from a junkyard and it fits perfectly. My brother in law and I have been super careful to clean out and vacuum as much glass and debris that could have been in the tracks and hardware.

So now the new sunroof is installed and fits flush with the roof, but now when I go to open my sunroof, the sunroof gets jammed up and sounds like it is grinding or something. Has this happened to anyone and does anyone have a solution to fix this? Many thanks!
