Is Gandhari Vidye / blindfold vision real, or just a scam?

I recently came across ads and programs claiming to teach something called “Gandhari Vidye”, “third eye activation”, or “intuition training” — where kids can identify colors, read, or recognize objects with their eyes closed.

Some of these are even promoted by well-known meditation or spiritual organizations, and they show demos where children seem to do it successfully while blindfolded.

They also claim this can be learned in just a few days.

I’m honestly confused:

- Is it scientifically possible to see or identify colors with closed eyes?

- Are these demonstrations real, or is there some trick involved?

- Has anyone actually verified this in a controlled setting?

Would love to hear from people who’ve looked into this seriously.
