Is this a date?

I’m 22, transmasc and pre-transition (other than social). There’s a girl (also 22) who was a close-ish friend in high school, and even in that time we always bantered/flirted but mostly as jokes.

Now, fast forward ~4-5 years, and we contacted each other again. We met once before and there she told me she doesn’t think she’s straight and is closer to something like pansexual with a preference towards men.

Since then, we texted pretty much everyday, we had a long call about mental health and some of the issues she’s currently facing (career, roommate(s), family stuff, etc…) and it was an amazing conversation.

We agreed to meet again, then today she texted me, “I’ll actually be alone tonight, would you like to sleep over? I might be scared alone…”

And I mean… obviously I would! I just don’t want to have an uncomfortable situation where I bring my backpack full of my genitals and then it’s just a cringe misunderstanding… what do you guys think?
