Help at expanding 1k list to 2k

Hey everyone,

I’m currently playing Necrons at 1k and I’m looking to expand the army into a strong and fun 2k list. I’d love to get some opinions on what direction makes the most sense from here, what units you would add, and which detachments synergize best with this core.

Current collection / 1k list:

Characters

• Overlord (Warlord) — Veil of Darkness, Resurrection Orb, Voidscythe
• Technomancer — Staff of Light

Battleline

• 20x Necron Warriors (Gauss Reapers)

Swarms

• 3x Canoptek Scarabs
• 3x Canoptek Scarabs

Mounted

• 3x Lokhust Heavy Destroyers (Gauss Destructor)

Beasts

• 6x Canoptek Wraiths (Claws + Particle Casters)

Vehicle

• Canoptek Doomstalker

For expanding toward 2k, I’ve been thinking about adding things like C’tan and possibly Doomsday/Ghost Arks, but I’m still undecided on the overall direction and detachment.
Would love to hear how you’d build this into a full 2k army and what detachment you think would work best.
