Reparation cost

Hi! I inherited an Omega Seamaster from 1986 from my granddad. When I got it, it didn't work so I brought it to a watchmaker. I now got an offer for the reparation cost, which was about 750 USD (7000 SEK). In my mind it sounds a bit much, but I don't know anything about watches really so I'm asking for your opinions about the price. The setting mechanism (?) was defect, what has to be done is: movement replacement, full service, setting stem, crown, crystal gasket, case gasket and pressure test.

I'm aware that a real Omega watchmaker should conduct the reparation, but there is none in my home town so I brought it to the local watchmaker.

The watch has huge sentimental value for me so I'm willing to pay to get it to work, but the price sounded high. I appreciate all your input!
