Finally Clicking for Me

Man was I freaking bored the first few hours. Wasn’t until I got my ass handed to me by the bleed bandits and thought, let’s get some more skills before fighting them, during that process I suddenly ‘got it’.

My take so far (6-8 hours in) is that you don’t go into this game expecting it to be a variation on another game such as The Witcher, or RDR2. This is way more involved in the collecting and crafting side, so much so it reminds me of Minecraft (one of my favourite and most played games).

Once I realised that and slowed it way down, stopped asked NPC’s to speak more than one time, I started to get immersed in the world and the game.

Now I am pretty sure I’m hooked. Last night my wife needed to slap me to drop the controller at midnight, oops!
