Can't see anything but the controls while launching

So I finally managed to get the files onto my phone, and created a new game instance. But whenever I try to launch the game it's just a black screen with the gamepad controls overlaid. I've tried changing the renderer and driver to ZINK_ZFA and FREEDRENO but to no avail. I am using a Oneplus ord Ce4 Lite 5g with 8gb base ram and 8gb vram allocated. Pls help
