Chris Winterburn’s Premier League Week 35 Predictions and Tips

Matchday 35 in the Premier League has arrived and there are a number of fascinating scenarios which could play out at both ends of the table.

Arsenal and Manchester City are neck-and-neck in the title race, but the Gunners have the advantage of playing first this weekend. They host Fulham on Saturday and could move three points clear of City before they travel to Everton on Bank Holiday Monday. I think both teams will win this weekend, with the drama set to continue to the last weekend of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur got their first league win of 2026 last weekend, but it came at a cost. Season ending injuries to Xavi Simons and Dominic Solanke leave their attack looking threadbare, but they simply have to continue winning. An away trip to Villa Park seems an impossible task on paper, but the hosts may be forced to rotate after their Europa League semi-final defeat to Nottingham Forest on Thursday.

West Ham, meanwhile, are on the road this week, with Brentford their opponents. Brentford were excellent in defeat at Old Trafford on Monday and are set to win this one. West Ham just don’t have the defensive quality to contain the playmaking skills of Damsgaard and Jensen. Igor Thiago is also due a goal after his numerous missed opportunities against United. Defeat for West Ham here could open the door wide open for Tottenham.
