I regret having missed the Sushi Era
I am by no means an old fan, I got in with We got the moves a few years ago (like most of the fanbase ig). I've been sleeping on those old albums for far too long. The Scene has some absolute bangers, and I'm kind of sad I didn't get to experience it live. I get the tone shift of the band, but now that I know where they came from, I'm not sure I really vibe with it. Since Everytime we touch (which is alright imo), no single really hit for me. Maybe it's a feeling of "trying too hard" to do songs that can be universally loved, you end up with something quite generic.
I don't remember seeing a discussion about this on the sub, what are everyones opinions on this?
