Glow up Palette causing game to freeze?

Hihii, I started playing a few days ago, and I've tried to "glow up" my colour palette selection for dying clothing, but it freezes me game every time

I've tried waiting and just plain trying to exit but I just have to close the entire game to "fix" it

Any ideas what's wrong?

Also minor follow-up question, how do I level up my outfits? ty in advance! :D
