[2017 VW Golf Mk7 2.0 TDI DSG] Vibrations at 53/104 km/h turning into noise. Replaced dual-mass flywheel & CV joints, still no fix.
Hi, I have a problem with my VW Golf 7 2.0 TDI DSG, FWD.
While driving at speeds of around 53 km/h and 104 km/h, I used to feel vibrations in the car body. After about 2,000 km, this turned into a constant noise. I have no idea what it could be.
What has been done so far:
• Dual-mass flywheel replaced
• Inner CV joints replaced
The noise is loudest exactly at the speeds mentioned above; otherwise, the car runs pretty much fine. I went to a diagnostic station, and they didn't notice any suspension issues. I was thinking about replacing the rear wheel bearings, even though they don't show any signs of damage or play when the car is on the lift.
Any ideas on what else I should check? Thanks in advance!
