What brand of laptop should I get?

Hellooo :) First off, I'm not that techy. I had an Acer laptop like 4 years ago or so that had a broken battery. If I were to use it, kailangan naka plug siya lagi. Fast forward, I don't use that laptop anymore. I'm thinking of getting a new one to help me with academics.

Anyway, since I'm not good with technology and brands, I don't know what to get or what I should look for.

Second, I also enjoy gaming. I want a laptop to be used for studying and also when I'm feeling chill and wanna play a game. I was even thinking of downloading games from Steam.

Is there any laptops that can support academics and gaming? I know there's gaming laptops but I feel like those are so expensivee. I think 20-50k is a good price :D.
