My parents always trusted silver more than banks, anyone else grew up hearing this?
Growing up, I always saw my parents putting their trust in silver more than anything else. Coins, small bars, even utensils, it wasn’t just about tradition, it felt like a safer kind of savings to them.
They used to say banks can fail, money can lose value, but silver will always hold something real.
Not sure how true that still is today, but it made me wonder, did anyone else grow up hearing the same things at home? Or was it just in my family?
