How to know if someone is a test from Allah or if it’s destiny?

If you meet someone who seems to have everything you’ve always wanted in a person, is there a chance it could be fate or just a test? For me the person I met isn’t muslim which is why i’m asking this, but i know people who have been introduced to islam by their future partners and both their lives have changed for the better. I know it’s important to avoid anything that could lead to haram like meeting in private and such, but in general how can you know if this is something to stay away from? I know that not everything you want is always good for you which is why i’ve been cautious, i’d appreciate some outside opinions.
