Non-spellslinger Starn: Deck Recs?

Starn pingers is nothing new, but rather than ping for every non-creature spell, I'm looking at more novel/diverse sources that trigger on death, with creatures entering and attacking, and also some haste and evasion creatures that deal 1. I'm focusing on B3 for power level.

I'm currently considering adding:

- Urza's saga to fetch basilisk/shadowspear

- Meekstone/ensnaring bridge for alt way to deal with large creatures

- Viashino Heretic for artifact removal/burn

With only a couple games, I feel like Spiked Corridor // Torture Pit is awkward, and I'm uncertain of how to place draw power or what other sources I should consider. Virtue of courage has been helpful, but it's also expensive. I'm not focused enough for Archmage Emeritus

Is this build a fools errand or is there more worth exploring in non-spellslinger Starn? What recommendations do you have?
