Gamepass glitches since i reedem it in My acc

I have a problem. I have a Game Pass account that I share with a friend. It's set as my primary Xbox and my friend logs in to use it. Everything's fine up to that point.

He can play online and play Game Pass games. The problem here is that I can only play Game Pass games; the console is ignoring the online service. (I'M NOTING THAT I HAVE THE PRIMARY ACCOUNT).

So I want to know if anyone has had the same problem and how they solved it. I've tried: hard reset, deleting and adding the account, deactivating and reactivating the main account.

The only temporary solution I have is relatively annoying; I have to open the game in my user account and then open the Game Pass account, access multiplayer, and then log out of the Game Pass account.
