All your eggs in one basquet: A single point of failure where that can lead to total loss of access or exposure of all sensitive information
I am seriously considering degoogleling and switching to the Proton ecosystem because I like what I hear about privacy, but I am wary of putting all my eggs in one basquet. I think maybe a combination of Proton Mail, Drive, Pass, and VPN is acceptable but for 2fa I feel it has to be different. In the unlikely scenario someone gets access to my Proton account, I don’t want them to also get access to my 2fas. A back up email to Proton is of course a must (a different and private one as well). I hear Authy is okay and I like that it’s free. People seem to also like Ente. What backup systems do you have in place that’s worked out for you and what system hasn’t? Thanks.
