Card only machines getting fined or banned?

I read this morning that a wave of states/cities are banning cashless business. With no carve out for vending or kiosks.

It sounds like all "card or digital" only businesses will be non compliant and subjected to fines or shut downs in these jurisdictions. Heads up folks!
