Want to be a surgeon but dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome
A 24 Male
Final year med student starting surgery residency next year
3 years ago started to deal with it
Because I am very careful with my body it is still mild (no waking up at night with pain ) just numbness with wrist flexion angles, positive tinel + hand elevation test and some pain that goes away after few seconds
But really scared it will affect me during general surgery residency especially lab surgery
I can’t see myself in other field
Do you know surgeons who had it and cured it ??
