TCF preparation at A2 with Tutor?

I just had my 2nd session with my tutor, and we were already practicing task 2 questions for TCF. Thing is, it is still difficult for me to compose french questions about the topic. I know I can ask in english but im still having trouble composing them the right way in french because theres a lot of grammar rules and vocabularies to work out. Sometimes I ran out of french words so I talk in english. If i really cant, I will tell what I wanna say then he will translate it in french.

So, I need advice if we’re doing this right. Theres no other lesson we’re discussing for 1 hour, we just go right to TCF stuff. I actually selected for tcf prep when I hired him in italki, he said we will practice the speaking module but I find the questions difficult.

For context: Ive been self studying for 3+ months and still practicing a lot for grammar and vocabulary. So my purpose of tutor is mainly for my speaking.
