Survive Mtech

I did my btech from a private college and I was a very weak student in btech like my cgpa was not good it's below 7 most of the time but somehow I survived btech without getting campus placement opportunity as I have 1 F grade.

How difficult is mtech at IIT or NIT? Will I be able to survive it or not ?

Should I do mtech or find a job , for your information I'm not interested in research in tech field.

I haven't cleared gate yet. So I have to prepare for gate first
