Punishment

I am having a hard time accepting a recent punishment. I think it borders not Okay but I want an experience Dom’s opinion. I am new to this world as a submissive.

My husband and I live long distance. When I’m away, I’ve noticed that some of our blue chew pills have been used even though I haven’t been home. So I asked him about it. He got really upset and told me that he will be not be accused of cheating on me when he didn’t. He then proceeded to tell me there will be punishment. He is also new to this world. I was told to wait a certain way, and then he spanked me. Not fun spanking. I cried, and he then held me and explained why I got each spanking. He then told me that my insecurities have to stop.

I don’t feel I was being insecure, I feel as his wife I was actually asking him legitimate questions about where the missing sex pills went. Am I wrong?
