Is it still worth coming to Vancouver, Canada in 2026 for masters degree in IT field?

I am an AI engineer with 1 YoE and will be pursing my masters degree (MSc applied computing) from BCIT, Vancouver starting in September, 2026. My primary goal is to secure a High paying AI job in Vancouver and settle there by getting PR. However, I have been hearing a lot about the recent changes in BC PNP that the tech draws have officially been ended permanently and there is no guaranteed PR path for tech graduates. One have to apply in the general pool and must have somewhere around 500+ points (just to qualify) and yet no future draws for STEM graduates are guaranteed. I am willing to learn French, if that helps significantly. I am really confused whether should I go and pursue higher degree or should I stay back in India? I would really really appreciate advise from someone who is currently working in the Tech industry in Canada or someone who is in similar position.
