Can not figure out how to log into old GMAIL

Recently (January of this year) I made a gmail account that I thought was linked to my personal phone number / email. Whenever I try to reset the password using one of these, I get sent to the "google can not verify this account belongs to you" page.

Apparently I had already tried to reset the password and even have the email to do so, and this worked, but I am guessing that I never saw it. It seems like the system isn't willing to send me it again though bc of lack of info and the link is definitely well expired.

I really do not want to make another gmail account and reach the max number of accounts since I only have one phone number and don't want to use a VPN or anything like that.

Please share if there is a method I can use to get that email sent again! I have screenshots/proof of emails that relate to me creating the account if it matters.
