Can I keep the dishes that were exposed to water from back up

Long story short there was a clog in the drain line that caused water and garbage disposal crud to back up into my kitchen sink. Are the dishes that came into contact with this still safe to use? Management tells me it was not sewage but I have little confidence that they are telling the complete truth
