Doctor pre-check in (Phreesia)
Every time. Three or four days before a doctor's appointment, I get a text and email to check in ahead of time. I go to the provided link, verify my address, name, etc. Cool.
Day of the appointment, usually two hours before, I get a text or email. Same link. Please check in before your appointment. Eh? I verify all the information I did before.
I go to my appointment. The receptionist hands me a tablet and asks me to check in. Same. Damn. Questions. I say I verified everything twice. She looks at the computer, gives a blank "Mhmm," and still shoves the tablet at me. FFS!
I have an appointment today.
Earlier this week, I got the text message to pre-check in. I ignore it. The next day, the text is sent again. I ignore it. Yesterday I get a phone call from the doctor's office. They ask me to confirm if I can make the appointment. I say I will be there on time. They tell me, "We need you to check in online please."
I ask them if it will be the only time I need to check in. They say yes. Only one is needed.
They send the link, and I answer all the questions. All good.
Nope--I got another text today reminding me to check in early. Same link, same questions.
I ignored it. I'm hoping I retain my patience when I head to my appointment in an hour.
