Can fiberglass panels be used for soundproofing a recording studio?

I visited an audio equipment store to ask about fiberglass panels for a recording studio two days ago. I wanted something that can reduce noise and echo. I also wanted something affordable for soundproofing. But when I checked the panels there I felt confused. Some panels looked thick and professional but had no clear sound rating. Some sellers said fiberglass works great while others suggested different materials. Some products looked cheap and weak for studio use. I could not trust them. I could not decide confidently.

Then I visited another shop in the same area. Some fiberglass panels felt stronger and better made. Some were designed specially for music rooms and studios. Some still had confusing information about soundproofing and sound absorption. I remembered I once used foam panels in a small room and the sound still echoed badly during recording. That made me hesitate again.

To check more variety and options while scrolling many online platforms including alibaba I found many fiberglass soundproofing panels for recording studios. Some panels were made for reducing echo and improving sound clarity. Some had high density material for better sound absorption. Some websites explained that fiberglass panels help more with acoustic treatment than fully blocking outside noise. Reviews and studio forums also shared real experiences from musicians and creators. Some people said fiberglass worked very well when placed correctly on walls and ceilings. Some suggested combining it with other materials for better results. There were many options available. This made me excited but also confused again.

Now I am thinking should I use fiberglass panels alone for my recording studio or combine them with other soundproofing materials for better results?
