To people accepted at Duke/Rice, were you emailed when the decision was released?

If you were accepted at Duke or Rice, did you get an email notifying you when the decision was ready? I didn't get either, and I was rejected to both; I was wondering if they only send email notifications to accepted or waitlisted applicants when they released decisions.
