Using bedjet without cloud sheet worth it?

I am an incredibly hot sleeper. I sweat almost every other night. My roomate is a psycho who turns the heat on randomly at night. I’m contemplating buying a bedjet. My only thing is I love my linen sheets and I love sleeping skin on my linen sheets. I want my bed to show my linen sheets on top and I don’t want the white cloud sheet to show when I make my bed. Should I get the cloud sheet then put my fitted linen bed sheet over it to hide the cloud sheet? I heard it doesn’t work like that but curious. Also how much of a difference is it if I don’t have a cloud sheet? Thanks!
