Iron Recommendations
Alright,
I know stuff like this gets asked all the time and is probably annoying but here we go:
I am currently in college (and broke as one is) and started golfing consistently last year. I am currently playing off a 16 hdcp and still dropping scores consistently. I have run into the issue of outgrowing my beginner set of Nicklaus irons that have very flexible graphite shafts (A flex maybe?) which results in hitting pulls/draws every time I make a good swing. This doesn't happen when I hit my buddy's T150s with stiff steel shafts well so moderately confident it's the club. I have been searching around for a set that isn't going to break the bank but I can keep for the next 5ish years. I would prefer something that isn't GI and I can grow with but offer some forgiveness. Currently looking at: MP-54s, MP-59s, Z785s, and NL Pf-2s, opinions on these? Any others you would recommend? Under $300 please
TL;DR: Newer golfer, 16 hdcp, iron set under $300
