What is the purpose of Age of Money? Is it helpful?

I've been using YNAB (4 then new) for close to 10 years. In this time I've been fortunate to not be in debt, and if anything I use it to track my accounts. Probably not needed, but I think I've earnt more than the £80 a year cost in interest payments, purely by being able to track and open accounts.

Because of this, I've never really paid attention to Age of Money. Mine is sat at around 127 days, for whatever that is worth. Do those who are in debt, or recovering from debt, use it or find it helpful? Or is it something that's just there?
