Starting internships soon — how important is Excel in accounting?

I’m starting some accounting internships soon and honestly my Excel skills aren’t great.

How much of a disadvantage is that when you first start? Is it something you’re expected to already know, or do you mostly learn on the job?

Any tips on what I should focus on before starting would really help.
