GYM RANT: The sauna is not a “warm up” room for your workout, don’t go in there with your clothes/shoes on
It’s nasty. I can smell your disgusting clothes getting baked onto your body in this small room that we’re sharing. Takes about 30seconds for the smell to hit, depending on the size of the room.
Get of out of here and go warm up like an actual person who exercises. There’s plenty of ways to elevate your heart rate other than sitting in a dry/hot room that’s meant for recovery.
Also use towels. If you want to be naked then fine, that’s your jam. But sit on a damn towel and put one at your feet so that you don’t leave a nasty ass sweat puddle for the next innocent victim to be forced to sit on. It’s truly disgusting and it appalls me that people actually do that without thinking about how inconsiderate it is to those that come after them.
It also just gets under my skin because it’s literally the laziest form of a warm up that someone could realistically do in a gym. Like dude, get on an exercise bike or treadmill for 5 minutes, it’s not hard.
I go into the sauna after crushing my workout and just want to relax and not smell some lazy dude who thinks going into a sauna fully clothed in order to “warm up” is even halfway acceptable. It’s not. It’s rude and inconsiderate.
