2nd Year CSE (AI/ML) | Hackathon Winner + Research Paper | Need Advice on Landing a Summer Internship ??

Hey everyone,

I’m a 2nd-year CSE (AI/ML) student, about to finish my exams, and I want to make the most of my summer by doing an internship mainly to gain hands-on industry experience and also earn some pocket money for college.

A bit about me:

• Strong hands-on experience in robotics and drones
• Winner of multiple national-level hackathons
• Published a research paper
• Comfortable working on real-world projects and collaborating in teams

I’m particularly interested in internships related to robotics, drones, or AI/ML, but I’m also open to exploring other tech domains where I can learn and contribute.

What I’m looking for from this community:

• Guidance on how to actually land a good internship at this stage
• Platforms or websites that work well for students like me
• Tips to stand out despite being in 2nd year
• Any mistakes I should avoid during applications

If you’ve been in a similar position or have any advice, I’d really appreciate your insights.

Thanks in advance 🙌
